After Starkey became the first manufacturer ever to integrate a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) directly into its hearing aids in 2024, expectations for further innovations from the U.S. at the 2025\u00b4s trade show were initially somewhat restrained. But Starkey continues to live up to its reputation as an innovation leader: with the new G3 Neuro Processor, the company is already launching the next, further enhanced generation \u2013 the Starkey Omega AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: An NPU (Neural Processing Unit) is a specialized chip designed to handle AI tasks such as speech processing extremely quickly and energy-efficiently \u2013 delivering maximum performance with minimal power consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
