If someone wants to do without the button, they can simply have it deactivated. We do enjoy the small remote controls, and we've found one for this model. This allows for discreet adjustments to the volume or sound.
In our tests, we did not find any option for voice control. This feature is not necessarily required, but we would have appreciated it nonetheless. Another option for controlling the hearing aids is a tapping control. You simply tap your fingers on your ear, which triggers a specific function. However, this possibility is not available in this audio service device.
In the App Store, we also found a suitable application from Audio Service. The app for the G7 16 Mood R S 7 isn't one of our highlights, but it has everything needed for hearing systems. You don't need headphones here anymore, as it has a wireless option and can transmit sounds directly from the smartphone to the ears – provided the smartphone is equipped with 2.4 GHz LE technology.

The individual steps are so small that you hardly notice there has been an increase in volume.
Unfortunately, the G7 16 Mood R S 7 is not equipped with a rechargeable battery, which means that you need regular size 312 batteries for operation.
The datasheet certifies the Audio Service device with an IP protection class rating of 68. This makes it one of the most resilient hearing aids on the market.
