Hearing comfort
Good speech understanding is a matter of course in contemporary hearing aids. Equally important is listening comfort. Only when the relationship between speech transmission and the level of background noise is right can hearing be perceived as pleasant. Therefore, let's take a look at the comfort features: The Naida Lumity 30 PR allows for solid comfort programming by the hearing care professional. Normal background noises such as traffic noise, vacuum cleaner noise, or that of a fan should be dampened by traditional noise suppression. In this Phonak hearing aid, background noise is reliably recognized but only moderately reduced.

It is quite practical, fits in your pocket, and offers a volume up and down option as well as various hearing programs.
The modern form of control via voice command is not yet found in the Naida Lumity 30 PR. Tap Control would have also been an interesting feature. With that, you can change the function with a quick tap on the ear. But that is not available in the Naida Lumity 30 PR yet.

While there is a situational detection that differentiates between quieter and louder environments, it works. However, those who are actively engaged in life might occasionally encounter limitations with it. But that's not too bad, as you can revert to manual adjustment options. We are very pleased with the integrated acclimatization manager. It gradually increases the volume of the hearing aid in tiny steps until our target amplification is eventually reached. We can relax and gradually get used to the new hearing impressions.
An extremely useful development in recent years is, in our opinion, the integrated rechargeable battery. We are accustomed to recharging electronic devices in our daily lives. The Naida Lumity 30 PR is also rechargeable, which allows us to avoid the hassle of battery changes.
The hearing aid has been classified into protection class IP68. This guarantees comprehensive protection against dust ingress. Water also cannot easily damage the hearing aid. Thus, it is well equipped for outdoor activities where it can get wet and dirty. However, do not necessarily go swimming or bathing with the hearing aids. Bath additives or the salt content in seawater can alter the composition and ultimately cause damage.
