Hearing aids are not only meant to bring speech to the ear but also to sound pleasant. So let's first look at the comfort features. What types of noise does the hearing aid recognize? Are they dampened or transmitted unchanged? Is the hearing aid suitable for a lively everyday life? Here with this test device, the manufacturer provides the customer with comprehensive noise management. As in every hearing aid, it also includes typical noise cancellation. It is designed to reduce uniform, noisy background sounds enough so that they do not dominate. With the Nexia 7 88 DWC, the noise suppression can be adjusted to the customer's preference.
A quite solid wind management is available in the Nexia 7 88 DWC and should be sufficient for everyday use. The suppression of short, loud sound events has convinced us here; it is quite capable. Or do you need different special programs for your professional life or hobbies? You can also activate these via the button. If you prefer to leave everything in automatic operation, you can simply ignore the button or even have it deactivated. If desired, there is a remote control for the hearing aid. This makes adjusting the volume effortless. The handling is not only child’s play, but no one will notice that you are currently adjusting your hearing aids.
For some time now, there has been a trend to adjust hearing aids louder or quieter via voice commands. The idea is really good, but ReSound is not yet there with this device. Don’t worry about it; this feature would be nice but is not essential. Some hearing aids can also be controlled with a quick tap of the finger without the need to press an extra button. Not only are there numerous options to customize the hearing aids to your own hearing preferences, but the app also offers plenty of lifestyle features. Problems with smartphone calls belong to the past with this device. Phone calls, music, and other sounds are completely transmitted wirelessly to the hearing aids. Headphones become unnecessary. We tested the wireless transmission during longer phone calls and while listening to music while exercising. Everything worked simply and smoothly. Only a suitable smartphone with 2.4 GHz wireless technology is required.

Das kann vom Tinnitus ablenken und für etwas mehr Entspannung sorgen.
Einen sehr guten Zusatznutzen erhält man durch das Angebot der Fernwartung. Über die App kann man mit seinem Hörakustiker Kontakt aufnehmen und sein Hörproblem schildern. Der kann die Einstellung entsprechend verändern und über die App in die Hörgeräte laden. Für Menschen mit wenig Zeit oder einem weiten Anfahrtsweg ist das ein toller Service.
Sensoren gibt es in dieser Nexia 7-Variante nicht, so dass auch das beliebte Gesundheits-Tracking nicht angeboten werden kann. Dabei werden z.B. die Schritte über den Tag gezählt. Wie gesagt - dieses Hörgerät hat diese Funktion nicht an Bord. Bei anderen Hörgeräten gibt es schon ein paar erweiterte Optionen wie einen Sturzalarm oder Erinnerungsfunktionen. Hier finden wir das nicht, und das ist auch gar nicht so dramatisch, denn die normalen Hörfunktionen sind immer noch am wichtigsten.
