With this hearing aid, the manufacturer provides the customer with comprehensive noise management. The traditional noise suppression helps to reduce uniform, irrelevant sounds a bit. With the Moment 440 BTE 13 D, we are satisfied with the effectiveness of the noise suppression. It can not only be turned on or off but also adjusted incrementally. How can one fully utilize the potential of hearing aids in everyday life? We have found out what access options are available with the Moment 440 BTE 13 D. The simplest way to operate it is always a button directly on the hearing aid. This one has it as well. It can be programmed according to your wishes. Do you wish for manual volume control? No problem, the button allows for stepwise adjustment of the volume. Or do you need different special programs for your professional daily life or your hobbies? These can also be activated via the button. Those who prefer to leave everything in automatic mode can simply ignore the button or even have it deactivated. If you are not fond of touching your ear to adjust the volume, you will appreciate the optional remote control. This allows you to make changes to the hearing aid comfortably and discreetly.
The modern form of operation by voice command is not yet available in the Moment 440 BTE 13 D. Tap Control would have been an interesting feature. With that, you could change the function with a quick tap on your ear. But this is not available in the Moment 440 BTE 13 D yet.

This significantly expands the potential of the Moment 440 BTE 13 D and provides relief when hearing becomes tiring. Problems with smartphone calls are a thing of the past with this device. Phone calls, music, and other sounds are completely transmitted wirelessly to the hearing aids. Headphones become unnecessary. We tested the wireless transmission during longer phone calls as well as for listening to music while exercising. Everything worked simply and smoothly. Only a compatible smartphone with 2.4 GHz wireless technology is needed.

The individual stages are so small that you don’t even notice that there has been an increase in volume.
The Moment 440 BTE 13 D gets its energy from small disposable batteries that need to be changed every few days. While this is not rocket science, it should be considered at least in cases of motoric issues. A rechargeable battery would be much simpler to handle.

Dust stands no chance, and water does not penetrate the housing unless it is submerged deeper than 1.5 m. However, still be careful. Shampoo, for example, changes the surface tension of water.
