The simplest way to operate it is always a button directly on the hearing aid. This one has it too. It can be programmed according to your wishes. Do you want a manual volume control? No problem, the button allows for stepwise adjustment of the volume. Or do you need different special programs for your professional daily life or your hobbies? These can also be activated via the button. Anyone who wants to leave everything in automatic mode can simply ignore the button or even have it deactivated. The small remote control, which is optionally available, is very practical. For us, it is one of the most convenient ways to adjust the hearing aid volume or switch to another hearing program. No one notices it, there’s no need to reach for the ear.
Some hearing aids can already be controlled by voice, but this one from Bernafon unfortunately cannot yet. It would be practical when fingers are not so mobile or when one simply likes smart gadgets. Tap Control would have been an interesting feature as well. With this, you could change the setting with a quick tap on the ear. But that's not available in the Alpha 7 MNB T yet.
Manual operation includes an app. This allows discreet access to the hearing aid. In addition to volume control, you can also set hearing programs and a few additional functions. The Alpha 7 comes with a 2.4 GHz antenna and allows us to enjoy binaural phone conversations. This even gives us an advantage over normal hearing individuals.
