The hearing comfort determines whether someone likes to wear their hearing aids or not. That’s why we first looked at how the hearing aid handles background noise. With this model presented by Oticon, we were impressed by the excellent sound management. Of course, noise suppression is integrated to mitigate tiring background sounds. In the Real 1 mini BTE R, the disturbing noises can be adjusted in several stages, allowing the user to decide how much attenuation is actually comfortable. The hearing comfort package also includes wind noise suppression. It works very reliably, and we wouldn’t want to be without it anymore.
An impulse sound suppression is a very important element in the comfort features of a hearing aid. It dampens loud, clattering noises. In the Real 1 mini BTE R, this attenuation occurs in several stages. This definitely earns some extra points. People with normal hearing usually don’t think much about spatial hearing. With this hearing aid, we don’t have to either. A sophisticated system of directional microphones and binaural wireless networking generates a 3D effect that comes very close to natural hearing. To improve usability, the manufacturer also provides us with an app for smartphones. For our digital everyday life, a streaming option would be great. The device at hand meets our wish and includes a 2.4 GHz RF module. With this, you can send calls and sounds directly from your smartphone to the hearing aids.

The adjustment to the new hearing experience is supported by this device with a fully automatic acclimatization manager. It adjusts the amplification in barely noticeable steps until my hearing loss is completely compensated for. I don't have to do anything other than wear my hearing aids regularly.
The Real 1 mini BTE R comes with a charger as it has built-in batteries. This is contemporary, user-friendly, and it's what we expect from a modern hearing aid.
We also take a look at the robustness of the casing and discover in the data sheet the protection class IP 68. This means that dust cannot penetrate at all, and water only becomes dangerous after prolonged submersion. Protection against contact is included as well.

Leise, sanfte Klänge werden auf Ihr Gehör abgestimmt und beschäftigten alle Bereiche im Innenohr. Das ist nichts weiter als ein Ablenkungsmanöver, und es funktioniert erstaunlich gut. Der Tinnitus verschwindet in dem allgemeinen Geräusch und nervt nicht weiter. Das ist ein einfaches, aber wirksames Tool und bekommt von uns Extrapunkte.
Einen sehr guten Zusatznutzen erhält man durch das Angebot der Fernwartung. Über die App kann man mit seinem Hörakustiker Kontakt aufnehmen und sein Hörproblem schildern. Der kann die Einstellung entsprechend verändern und über die App in die Hörgeräte laden. Für Menschen mit wenig Zeit oder einem weiten Anfahrtsweg ist das ein toller Service.
Ein neuer Trend in der Hörgerätebranche sind integrierte Sensoren, mit denen z.B. ein paar persönliche Gesundheitsdaten getrackt werden können. Das hat das Real 1 mini BTE R aber nicht im Angebot. Dann gibt es noch ein paar Lifestyle-Funktionen, die Ihr Hörgerät zu einem smarten Assistent machen. Lassen Sie sich mit Sprachassistenten wie Siri verbinden, oder entdecken Sie, was noch alles in der App steckt. Das hat zwar nicht mehr viel mit dem eigentlichen Hören zu tun, kann aber äußerst nützlich sein.

Abschließend lässt sich sagen, dass es sich bei diesem Gerät um einen echten Allrounder handelt, der uns mit seiner Komfortausstattung überzeugt und mit der Note 1,7 ein gutes Gesamtergebnis erzielt. Wer auf Spitzentechnik verzichten möchte, aber trotzdem einen bequemen Höralltag wünscht, der ist hier an der richtigen Stelle.
