Therefore, let’s take a look at the comfort features: The Virto Infinio 90 Titanium offers customers a comprehensive noise management system. Normal background noises such as traffic noise, the sound of a vacuum cleaner, or that from a fan should be suppressed by classic noise cancellation. This Phonak hearing aid has one of the most powerful noise cancellations available on the market.
Additionally, there is a really strong impulse filter that reduces all short, intense impulses as much as the customer desires. The wind suppression here is very solid and satisfies us in everyday life. The Virto Infinio 90 Titanium impresses us with its natural, spatial hearing. The outer ear retains its function, making the 3D effect feel just like not wearing a hearing aid at all. One of the most important evaluation criteria for hearing aids is the number of frequency bands, which determine the fine-tuning possibilities. The Virto Infinio 90 Titanium has 20 bands, providing the best conditions for achieving a precise sound result. Even in the following years, differentiated settings can be made repeatedly.

Operation & connectivity
The operation options for hearing aids today are as simple or as complex as one wants. The basic functions run fully automatically, of course. We wanted to know how users can additionally access the Virto Infinio 90 Titanium. For those who want to quickly and easily adjust the volume, there is a button on the device. Special programs for certain hearing situations can also be selected through this. The small remote control, which is optionally available, is very practical. For us, it's one of the most comfortable ways to adjust the hearing aid volume or switch to another hearing program. No one notices it; reaching for the ear is unnecessary.
For some time now, there has been a trend to adjust hearing aids using voice commands. The idea is really good, but Phonak has not yet reached this point with this device. Don't worry, this feature would be nice but is not essential. If there are sensors in the hearing aid, a tap control could be conceivable, which would trigger a specific function by tapping the ear with fingers. However, this option is not available in the Virto Infinio 90 Titanium.
An additional app for individual operation would be nice, but is currently not offered for this hearing aid. The smartphone cannot be connected to the hearing aid, as the necessary equipment with a wireless antenna is unfortunately missing.

No matter how great the hearing aid sounds: nothing is more uncomfortable than a product that constantly presents us with hurdles in everyday life. That’s why simplicity and safety is a very important topic in our hearing aid tests: Hearing in daily life is facilitated by the good automatic programming in the Virto Infinio 90 Titanium. It is rarely necessary to use the manual hearing programs, as the automatic mode already covers many situations. Some people struggle with getting used to it, but this hearing aid makes it easy for us to cope with the new volume. There is an acclimatization manager that gradually guides us to the required target amplification. The period can last a few weeks or several months, and it can be individually adjusted. The individual steps are so small that you hardly notice there has been an increase in volume.
We regret that the Virto Infinio 90 Titanium does not have a rechargeable battery but operates with size 10 hearing aid batteries. This is not particularly problematic, but one should remember to carry spare batteries. On the other hand, this hearing aid does not need to be charged daily; it runs for a longer time on a single battery.
We had a carefree everyday experience in our test due to the IP-68 certification. This indicates that the hearing aid is particularly well protected against dust and water. We marched through the rain and then took out the hearing aids with wet hands - no problem at all. However, the water resistance really only applies to fresh, natural water and not to foamy bathwater or saltwater.

Wer mag, kann sich ein spezielles Tinnitus-Programm einrichten lassen. Das legt bei Bedarf ein sanftes Rauschen auf die Ohren, um vom nervigen Tinnitus ein wenig abzulenken. Die Geräusche können nach dem persönlichen Hörgeschmack gestaltet werden.
Ein Online-Kontakt zum Hörakustiker über die App wäre sehr nützlich. Das ist heute schon recht verbreitet und sorgt für Hilfe bei kleinen Einstellungsproblemen. Leider verzichtet Phonak darauf und verdient sich damit auch keine Extrapunkte.
Manche Hörgeräte können bestimmte Gesundheitsdaten tracken. Allerdings braucht es dazu spezielle Sensoren im Hörgerät, die wir beim Virto Infinio 90 Titanium leider nicht haben. Das Gerät von Phonak konzentriert sich auf die wesentlichen Hörfunktionen und bietet keine Extras wie Srachassistenten oder Übersetzungsfunktion an. Das hätte zwar Spaß gemacht, ist für ein gutes Hörerlebnis aber nicht erforderlich.

Wer auf Spitzentechnik verzichten möchte, aber trotzdem einen bequemen Höralltag wünscht, der ist hier an der richtigen Stelle.
