It's quite handy, fits in your pocket, and offers a volume up-down option as well as various listening programs.

We are always happy when a hearing aid surprises us with a great additional feature. For example, we would have liked to see a voice control feature here. But that is currently not available in the Pure 7 AX 312. Tap Control would have also been an interesting function. With that, you could change the function with a simple tap on the ear. We particularly enjoyed using the equalizer during testing. As a normal hearing person, one becomes almost envious; you don’t find such features with wireless headphones yet. A streaming option would not be bad for our digital everyday life. The current device meets our wish and comes with a 2.4 GHz radio module. This allows you to send calls and sounds directly from a smartphone to the hearing aids.

With an exceptionally well-functioning situational automation, the Pure 7 AX 312 excels in terms of everyday performance. The finely tuned recognition of the acoustic environment allows us to effortlessly navigate through different hearing situations without needing to manually readjust. This is exactly what we wish for from a hearing aid. A great bonus in this hearing aid is the automatic acclimatization. Especially when someone has been hard of hearing for a long time and then wears a hearing aid for the first time, this is a tremendous relief. The volume does not have to be turned up fully right away. One can start at a lower level, and gradually and almost unnoticed, the amplification approaches the target.

Unfortunately, the Pure 7 AX 312 is not equipped with a rechargeable battery, so you need to regularly replace size 312 batteries for operation.

The hearing aid has been classified into IP protection class 68. This guarantees comprehensive protection against dust ingress. Water also cannot easily harm the hearing aid. It's about creating broad-spectrum noises or sounds that gently and pleasantly stimulate all hearing areas. The tinnitus fades into the background and is no longer perceived as disturbing.

A real added value is the remote maintenance service. To change the hearing aid settings, you no longer necessarily have to go to the specialty store; instead, you can directly contact the acoustician via the app. Through a cloud service, the new data package can then be uploaded to the hearing aids. This is exactly what we expect from a modern hearing aid.

For health-conscious individuals, there is a small special feature in the Pure 7 AX 312: health tracking. For example, steps can be counted throughout the day, and you receive feedback on your activity levels. Sensors in the hearing aid track the individual data, which you can then read in the app. It would have been nice to have a few lifestyle features, but those are not available in the Pure 7 AX 312. Other hearing aids may score points with language translators or fall alerts, but here, it remains within the usual range of functions.
