We wanted to know how users can access the Pure 7 X 312 beyond that. Usually, there is a button on the hearing aid, and we found one on the Pure 7 X. It can be configured as a volume control or program selection button and can also be disabled if desired. A remote control is available for the Pure 7 X 312. It's quite practical, fits in your pocket, and offers a volume up-down option as well as various listening programs.
For some time now, there has been a trend to adjust hearing aids louder or quieter using voice commands. The idea is really good, but Signia is not there yet with this device. Don't worry, this feature would be nice but is not essential. If there are sensors in the hearing aid, a tap control could be conceivable, which would trigger a specific function by tapping your fingers on your ear. However, this option is not available in the Pure 7 X 312.
An app on the smartphone is supposed to make operation easier, and we found one for the Pure 7 X 312 as well. In addition to basic functions like volume and programs, we find a few more buttons for personalization. The Pure 7 X comes with a 2.4 GHz antenna and allows us to enjoy binaural phone calls. A very good additional benefit comes from the remote maintenance offer. Through the app, you can contact your audiologist and describe your hearing problem. They can adjust the settings accordingly and load them into the hearing aids via the app. This is a great service for people with little time or a long journey.
There are no sensors in this Pure 7 X variant, so the popular health tracking cannot be offered. For example, steps are counted throughout the day. As mentioned - this hearing aid does not have this function onboard. The hearing aid also does without additional features such as special assistance systems, a fall alarm, or a speech translator. This is not a big deal, as it does not affect the important hearing functions.
