What is bothersome for most hearing aid users: Exactly, background noise. Therefore, we first look at the comfort features that the test device offers. The Pure 7 X 312 T provides customers with comprehensive noise management. Normal noise suppression is definitely present. It is designed to dampen constant sounds like street noise or the hum of the air conditioning. In our test device from Signia, the ambient noise is processed in such a way that relaxed listening is possible.

Usually, there is a button on the hearing aid, and we found one on the Pure 7 X as well. It can be configured as a volume control or program selection button and can also be disabled if desired. A remote control is available for the Pure 7 X 312 T. It is quite handy, fits in your pocket, and offers a volume adjustment option as well as various hearing programs.
In the test, we did not find any option for voice control. This function is not necessarily required, but we would have appreciated it nonetheless. Some hearing aids can also be operated with a quick tap of the finger without needing to press a button. However, this feature is not yet implemented here.
An app on the smartphone is supposed to make operation easier, and we found one for the Pure 7 X 312 T as well. In addition to the basic functions like volume and programs, we find a few additional buttons for personalization. A streaming option would be nice for our digital everyday life. The device at hand fulfills our wish and comes with a 2.4 GHz wireless module. This allows you to send phone calls and sounds directly from your smartphone to the hearing aids.

We are very pleased with the integrated acclimatization manager. It gradually increases the volume of the hearing aid in tiny steps until our target amplification is eventually reached. We can relax and gradually get accustomed to the new auditory impressions.
Unfortunately, the Pure 7 X 312 T is not equipped with a battery, so regular size 312 batteries are required for operation.
The Pure 7 X is nearly dust and waterproof and with its IP 68 classification, it is certainly well protected against external influences.

In conclusion, let's briefly check if there are any extras available: A special tinnitus program can be programmed upon request in the Pure 7 X 312 T. This allows for the generation of stimulating, pleasant sounds that distract from tinnitus when it is particularly intense. We find this very useful and are happy to award extra points.
We really like the remote adjustment feature. It is very helpful whenever someone wants to change just a small detail in the hearing aid settings but doesn't want to drive to the audiologist. Instead, the contact is made via the app, and the hearing professional sends back a customized data package in the same way.
Some hearing aids can track certain health data. However, this requires specific sensors in the hearing aid, which we unfortunately do not have in the Pure 7 X 312 T. This Signia hearing aid does not have any additional lifestyle options. Elsewhere, there are voice assistants or reminder functions, but you don't need that for good hearing. It would have just made the product a bit cooler.
