Some hearing aids can already be controlled by voice, but this one from Unitron cannot yet. That would be practical if your fingers are not as nimble anymore or if you simply like smart gadgets. In addition to buttons or remote controls, some hearing aids also have a tap control. This means you can simply tap your ear briefly, and then the device switches modes. However, we do not have that here at Unitron, as it would have required certain sensors.

This way, you can relax and gradually get used to the new hearing impressions. The B Moxi 9 312 is not rechargeable; it operates with hearing aid batteries. Unlike a rechargeable battery, it doesn't need to be charged daily, but after a few days, the size 312 battery needs to be replaced.
We had a carefree everyday life in our test due to the IP-68 certification. This indicates that the hearing aid is particularly well protected against dust and water. We marched through rain and then took out the hearing aids with wet hands - no problem at all. However, the water resistance only really applies to fresh, natural water and not to foamy bathwater or saltwater.

If someone needs a new programming of their hearing aids, they can easily contact the audiologist via the app and describe their hearing wishes. Through a cloud service, the professional can then send an individual setting as a data package to the app. From there, it is uploaded to the hearing aid and can be tried out immediately. This definitely deserves extra points in our test.
Many hearing aids today still come with some health functions. However, since the B Moxi 9 312 does not have any special sensors for that, we cannot present any specifics here. It would have been nice to have some lifestyle functions, but these are not included in the B Moxi 9 312.
