A highly useful development in recent years is, in our opinion, the integrated rechargeable battery. We are accustomed to recharging electronic devices in our daily lives. The Serene 17 62S-DRWC is also rechargeable, so we can avoid the hassle of changing batteries. The data sheet certifies the Beltone device with an IP protection class rating of 68. This makes it one of the most robust hearing aids on the market. Dust has no chance, and water does not penetrate the casing unless it is submerged deeper than 1.5 meters. However, be careful. Shampoo, for example, alters the surface tension of water. You should also avoid saltwater. In everyday life, though, you can behave quite carefree.
