It can be programmed according to your wishes. Do you want a manual volume control? No problem, the button allows for gradual adjustment of the volume. Or do you need different special programs for your professional everyday life or your hobbies? These can also be activated via the button. If you wish to keep everything in automatic mode, you can simply ignore the button or even have it deactivated. A very practical feature is the small remote control, which is available as an option. For us, this is one of the most convenient ways to increase or decrease the volume of the hearing aid or switch to another listening program. No one notices, and there is no need to reach for the ear.

For some time now, there has been a trend to adjust hearing aids louder or quieter using voice commands. The idea is really good, but Bernafon is not there yet with this device. Don't worry about it, this feature would be nice, but it is not essential. Some hearing aids can also be controlled with a quick tap of the finger without needing to press a button. This feature, however, is not yet implemented here.

A streaming option would not be bad for our digital everyday life. The presented device fulfills our wish and comes with a 2.4 GHz radio module. This allows you to send phone calls and sounds directly from the smartphone to the hearing aids.

Now let's take a look at how usage in everyday life is structured. Is the handling easy? Do I get a safe device? The Viron 9 MNR T R features an extensive set of stored hearing situations. When a typical pattern is recognized, the hearing aid automatically activates the correct setting, fully automatically. The device supports the adjustment to the new hearing experience with a fully automatic acclimatization manager. It adjusts the amplification in barely noticeable increments until my hearing loss is completely compensated. All I have to do is wear my hearing aids regularly.

A significant relief in daily life is the integrated battery. With this, my Viron 9 MNR T R always has enough energy for the whole day, and I no longer have to worry about the batteries suddenly running out in the middle of an event. Even with limited dexterity, a battery system is very helpful because it eliminates the need to insert small button cells.

The hearing aid has been classified in IP protection class 68. This guarantees comprehensive protection against dust ingress. Water also cannot easily damage the hearing aid. Thus, it is well equipped for outdoor activities, where it can get wet and dirty. However, do not necessarily go swimming or bathing with the hearing aids. Bath additives or the salt content in seawater can alter the composition and may ultimately cause damage.

In conclusion, we want to know if the hearing aid perhaps offers any specials: Worth mentioning is the tinnitus program. This will benefit all those who are troubled by annoying ear noises. Pleasant, quiet sounds are adjusted to gently surround the tinnitus. In the end, the tinnitus blends into the soundscape and becomes hardly noticeable.

Bernafon is keeping up with the times and offers a future-oriented feature with the remote adjustment service. Working individuals with little time can contact their audiologist online and have their hearing aids reprogrammed. Hearing aid users who have a longer travel distance to the specialist store also benefit from this special service.

There are no sensors in this Viron 9 variant, so the popular health tracking cannot be offered. For example, steps are counted throughout the day. As mentioned, this hearing aid does not have that function. You should take a closer look at the app for this Bernafon device. It contains several extras that significantly expand the functionality of these hearing aids. We really think these additional features are great!
