We continue the test with a brief assessment of how easy everyday usage will be. Is it complicated? Do I need to be particularly careful? Or do I not have to pay attention to anything? The situational automation of the AQ Sound FS 9 R S includes almost everything one can experience in everyday life. It delivers the perfect setting at all times without me having to do anything actively. Especially in varying phases, this is extremely convenient and allows me to almost forget the hearing aid is in my ear. A great feature of this hearing aid is the automatic acclimatization. Especially when someone has been hearing poorly for a long time and then wears a hearing aid for the first time, this is a tremendous relief. The volume does not have to be immediately turned up high. One can initially start at a lower level, and gradually and almost unnoticed the amplification approaches the target.
The AQ Sound FS 9 R S is rechargeable and no longer requires batteries. This is not only environmentally friendly but also very convenient to handle and frees me from the burden of constantly having to think about battery supply.
The datasheet certifies the Hansaton device with an IP protection class 68 certification. This makes it one of the most resilient hearing aids on the market. Dust has no chance, and water cannot penetrate the casing as long as it does not submerge deeper than 1.5 meters. Nevertheless, be cautious. Shampoo, for example, alters the surface tension of water. Es gibt doch relativ viele Menschen, die gelegentlich oder häufig von einem Pfeifen oder Rauschen im Ohr geplagt sind. Das Tinnitusprogramm im AQ Sound FS 9 R S ist eigentlich nichts weiter als ein Klanggenerator. Es geht darum, breitbandige Geräusche oder Klänge zu erzeugen, die sanft und angenehm alle Hörbereiche stimulieren. Der Tinnitus geht darin unter und wird nicht mehr als störend wahrgenommen.
Spannend finden wir den Fernwartungsdienst, den man in Anspruch nehmen kann. Wenn man keine Gelegenheit hat, zum Hörakustiker zu fahren, kontaktiert man ihn stattdessen über die App, beschreibt kurz sein Hörproblem und erhält anschließend ein Datenpaket mit einer neuen Hörgerätkonfiguration. Wenn die sich gut anhört, lädt man sie in seine Hörgeräte.
Sensoren gibt es in dieser AQ Sound FS 9-Variante nicht, so dass auch das beliebte Gesundheits-Tracking nicht angeboten werden kann. Dabei werden z.B. die Schritte über den Tag gezählt. Wie gesagt - dieses Hörgerät hat diese Funktion nicht an Bord. Der Funktionsumfang im AQ Sound FS 9 R S beschränkt sich auf das normale Hören, was auch völlig in Ordnung ist. Zusatzfunktionen wie Sturzalarm oder Siri-Verknüpfungen haben schon einen ordentlichen Mehrwert, sind aber für einen guten Hörausgleich nicht relevant.
