The simplest way to operate is always a button directly on the hearing aid. This model has one as well. It can be programmed according to your wishes. Do you want a manual volume control? No problem, the button allows for a stepwise adjustment of the volume. Or do you need different special programs for your professional daily life or hobbies? These can also be activated via the button. Anyone who wants to keep everything in automatic mode can simply ignore the button or even have it deactivated. If desired, there is a remote control for the hearing aid. This allows for effortless volume adjustment. The handling is not only easy but also no one will notice that you are adjusting your hearing aids.
The modern form of operation via voice command is not yet found in the jam XC Pro 5 R312 M. There is no control of the hearing aids with a simple tap, as certain sensors would have been needed in the housing for that.
Manual operation includes an app. This allows discreet access to the hearing aid. In addition to volume control, you can also adjust hearing programs and a few other functions. Especially when someone has had poor hearing for a long time and then wears a hearing aid for the first time, this is an enormous relief. The volume does not have to be immediately set to maximum. One can start at a lower level, and gradually and almost unnoticed, the amplification approaches the target.
The jam XC Pro 5 R312 M is not equipped with a rechargeable battery, so it cannot be charged. It is powered by a size 312 hearing aid battery. It needs to be replaced every few days.

They can adjust the settings accordingly and load them into the hearing aids via the app. This is a great service for people with little time or a long commute.
Many hearing aids still have a few health functions today. However, since the jam XC Pro 5 R312 M does not have any special sensors for that, we cannot present any special features here. Other hearing aids offer some expanded options like a fall alarm or reminder functions. We do not find that here, and that’s not too dramatic, since the normal hearing functions are still the most important.
