The operation options for hearing aids today are as simple or as complex as anyone would like. The basic functions operate fully automatically, of course. We wanted to know how users can access the jazz XC Pro 5 312 Dir W ITC beyond that. A very quick way to adjust the volume is the small button on the device. It is easy to feel, and you can adjust the volume in several steps, either louder or quieter. Additional programs for specific listening situations can also be activated with this. Those who want to forgo the button can simply have it deactivated. The small remote control, which is available as an option, is very practical. For us, it's one of the most convenient ways to adjust the hearing aid louder or quieter or to switch to another hearing program. No one notices it; there is no need to touch the ear.
In the test, we found no option for voice control. This function is not necessarily required, but we would have appreciated it nonetheless. Another option for controlling the hearing aids is a tap control. You simply tap on your ear with your fingers, which in turn triggers a specific function. However, this capability is not available in this Hansaton device.
In the App Store, we also find a suitable application from Hansaton. The app for the jazz XC Pro 5 312 Dir W ITC is not one of our highlights, but it has everything you need for your hearing systems. The jazz XC Pro 5 comes with a 2.4 GHz antenna and allows us to enjoy binaural phone calls. This even gives us an advantage over people with normal hearing.
