If you prefer to do without the button, you can simply have it deactivated. If desired, a remote control for the hearing aid is available. This allows you to effortlessly adjust the volume. Not only is the operation extremely easy, but no one will notice that you are adjusting your hearing aids.
In the test, we found no option for voice control. This function is not necessarily required, but we would have appreciated it. Besides buttons or remote controls, some hearing aids also feature tap control. This means you can simply tap your ear briefly, and the device will switch. However, we do not have this feature at Philips, as it would have required specific sensors.
In the App Store, we also find a suitable application from Philips. The app for the HearLink 3010 MNR T R is not one of our highlights, but it has everything you need for your hearing systems. One of the best features of the hearing aid is the direct streaming function. This turns the hearing aid into a True Wireless headphone and receives phone calls and other sounds directly in your ear. The prerequisite is a compatible smartphone that includes 2.4 GHz technology. The biggest advantage is that you can hear phone calls not only in one ear but in both.
