The Audeo Lumity 30 R from Phonak is a small hearing aid that is worn behind the ear. By using a direct orientation of the speaker in the ear canal, very good sound transmission is possible. Audeo Lumity 30 R is a hearing aid at a reasonable price from the upper mid-range and is suitable for almost any hearing need.
Hearing comfort

We always have our smartphone with us, and with the Audeo Lumity 30 R, that is worthwhile, as it can be customized via an app. The app is also really fun and offers a range of functions that one wouldn’t expect in a hearing aid app. If you enjoy playing, this is the right place for you. The direct, wireless streaming was a real joy for us. This means that calls from the smartphone can be transmitted to the hearing aids without any additional accessories. This turns the hearing aid into the perfect hands-free device or wireless headphones. Listening to music or watching and hearing videos is incredibly comfortable.

For us, simplicity in a hearing aid primarily means that it flexibly adapts to changing hearing scenarios. The Audeo Lumity 30 R hasn't completely convinced us in this regard. While there is a situational recognition feature that differentiates between quieter and noisier environments, which works well, those who are active in their lives might occasionally hit some limitations. However, that's not so bad, as there are manual adjustment options available. The device supports acclimatization to the new hearing sensation with a fully automatic acclimatization manager. It adjusts the amplification in barely noticeable steps until my hearing loss is completely compensated. I don't have to do anything other than wear my hearing aids regularly.
The Audeo Lumity 30 R is rechargeable and no longer requires hearing aid batteries. This is environmentally friendly, as there are no old batteries to dispose of. At the same time, it is also extremely convenient, since there is no need to carry spare batteries. The hearing aids simply go into the charging station in the evening and are ready for use the next morning.
We also take a look at the robustness of the housing and discover in the datasheet the protection class IP 68. This means that dust cannot penetrate at all, and water only becomes dangerous after prolonged submersion. Protection against contact is also included.
