We are particularly impressed by the Tap control. A quick tap of the fingers to the ear, and the hearing aid switches to another mode. Here, Phonak is ahead of others with its model. In our opinion, the Tap control is not only up-to-date but also extremely convenient.
Apps for hearing aids are now widely available. This one for the Audeo Lumity 70 RT has awakened our playful side. It is fun to use this app because it extends the functionality of the hearing aid with a few very useful tools. Problems with phone calls on a smartphone are a thing of the past with this device. Phone calls, music, and other sounds are completely transmitted wirelessly to the hearing aids. Headphones therefore become unnecessary. We tested the wireless transmission during longer phone calls and while listening to music during sports. Everything worked simply and smoothly.
