We have here a small hearing aid from a price range just above the average, which is worn behind the ear. By placing the small speaker in the ear canal, the foundation for good hearing success is laid, as the sound has only a very short distance to travel to the eardrum. This ensures that all sounds reach us where we want them to.

Some hearing aids can also be controlled with a simple tap of a finger, without needing to press a button. This feature is not yet implemented here.

With the Audeo Paradise 30 R T, we are in luck: there is an appropriate app. We are completely thrilled with this app. Not only does it offer numerous options to customize the hearing aids to personal hearing preferences, but the app also includes plenty of lifestyle features. For our digital everyday life, a streaming option would not be bad. The device in question meets our wish and comes with a 2.4 GHz radio module. This allows you to send phone calls and sounds directly from the smartphone to the hearing aids.

The automatic program feature in the Audeo Paradise 30 R T provides us with relatively little support. Without a few individual hearing programs, one would probably struggle in a lively everyday environment. We are very pleased with the integrated acclimatization manager. It gradually increases the volume of the hearing aid in tiny steps until our target amplification is eventually reached. We can relax and gradually get used to the new auditory impressions.

The Audeo Paradise 30 R T comes with a charger, as it has built-in batteries. This is modern, user-friendly, and what we expect from a contemporary hearing aid.

We also take a look at the robustness of the housing and find the protection class IP 68 in the data sheet. This means that dust cannot penetrate at all, and water only becomes dangerous after prolonged submersion. Protection against contact is also included.

They can adjust the settings accordingly and upload them to the hearing aids via the app. For people with little time or a long commute, this is a great service.

Sensors in the hearing aids enable functions that offer real added value. This model from Phonak contains such sensors and counts your steps throughout the day, for example. The data can then be viewed in the app. It is quite possible that subsequent updates will add more tracking functions. This Phonak hearing aid does not include any additional lifestyle options.
