Phonak introduces the Audeo Paradise 50 312, a model from a price range slightly above the average. It can accommodate nearly any hearing needs. It is a very small hearing aid that delivers good sound through the clever positioning of the speaker in the ear canal. It is worn behind the ear.
Hearing comfort
The hearing comfort determines whether someone enjoys wearing their hearing aids or not. That's why we first looked at how the hearing aid handles background noise. In this model, which Phonak presents to us, we found very few options for influencing comfort. Of course, there is noise suppression integrated, which is intended to soften annoying background noises. In the Audeo Paradise 50 312, the noise suppression can be adjusted to the customer's preference. We searched in vain for wind management; there is no wind noise reduction here.
A pulse noise reducer is unfortunately not included in the Audeo Paradise 50 312. Instead, you make contact via the app, and the hearing professional sends back an adjusted data package in the same way.
A new trend in the hearing aid industry is integrated sensors that can track a few personal health data, for example. However, the Audeo Paradise 50 312 does not offer this. The hearing aid also does without additional features like special assistance systems, a fall alert, or language translators. This is not a big deal, as it does not affect the important hearing functions.
