Unfortunately, this hearing aid still does not have wind noise suppression. Too bad. With 20 channels, the frequency band number in the Virto Marvel 90 Titanum is very high. This allows the hearing aid to be perfectly adjusted to any hearing and also offers good long-term tuning options. The Virto Marvel 90 Titanum impresses us with its natural, spatial hearing. The outer ear retains its function, creating a 3D feeling as if one were not wearing a hearing aid at all.
Sometimes we come across hearing aids that process data very successfully with the help of artificial intelligence, but this device has not yet reached that point.

Unfortunately, we are disappointed with the Titanium as there is no immediate adjustment option. Those who do not like touching their ear to adjust the volume will be pleased with the optional remote control. This allows for convenient and discreet changes to the hearing aid.
For some time now, there has been a trend to adjust hearing aids louder or quieter using voice commands. The idea is really good, but Phonak is not yet at that point with this device. Don't worry, this feature would be nice, but it is not essential. If there are sensors in the hearing aid, a tap control would be conceivable, which would trigger a specific function by tapping the ear with the fingers. However, this option is not available in the Virto Marvel 90 Titanium.
We searched in the app store for an app for further adjustments in vain; we would have preferred it differently. Unfortunately, wireless connection options are completely lacking in this version. This is a bit outdated, but it is probably due to the small size of the hearing aid.

For those who desire a comprehensive and powerful fully automatic hearing aid and want to adjust it as little as possible, this is an excellent choice. The adaptive algorithms untangle the individual sound events in the environment and present the soundscape clearly and precisely. We are very pleased with the integrated acclimatization manager. It gradually raises the volume of the hearing aid in tiny increments until our target amplification is eventually reached. We can relax and gradually get used to the new auditory impressions.
Unfortunately, the Virto Marvel 90 Titanium is not equipped with a rechargeable battery, so regular size 10 batteries are needed for operation.
We also take a look at the robustness of the housing and discover the protection class IP 68 in the data sheet. This means that dust cannot penetrate at all, and water only becomes dangerous after prolonged submersion. Protection against contact is also included.
