Signia presents the Pure 7 AX Charge&Go model from the premium segment. It can compensate for mild, moderate, and even severe hearing losses. It is a small hearing aid that delivers good sound thanks to the cleverly chosen placement of the speaker in the ear canal. It is worn behind the ear.
Hearing comfort
In the hearing comfort section, we look at how a hearing aid handles all the background noise. Comfortable noise management significantly contributes to whether a user enjoys their hearing aids and wears them regularly. For this Signia device, the manufacturer provides the customer with comprehensive noise management. The regular background noise suppression aims to reduce uniform, indistinct background noises. The Pure 7 AX Charge&Go features quite respectable background noise suppression. Even when things get louder, the listening experience remains pleasant.
Impulse sounds occur very often in everyday life. There’s the dishwasher that needs emptying or the keys being placed on the table. The Pure 7 AX Charge&Go offers strong impulse sound management to make these sounds bearable. A multi-level wind noise management system is also included. This ensures that listening outdoors is enjoyable and free from disturbances. We are satisfied with the spatial functions. The hearing aid has adaptive microphones that support spatial hearing very well. One of the most important evaluation criteria for hearing aids is the number of frequency bands. These determine the fine-tuning possibilities. The Pure 7 AX Charge&Go has the best conditions for achieving a precise sound result with its 20 bands. In the following years, one can continually make differentiated adjustments.
An additional tool for improving hearing comfort can be found in the Signia app. There, artificial intelligence utilizes the preferences of thousands of other hearing aid users to generate a tailored setting for a very specific listening situation.

Signia Pure 7 AX Charge&Go:
Operation & connectivity
How can one fully utilize the potential of hearing aids in everyday life? We found out what access options are available with the Pure 7 AX Charge&Go. First, we discovered a button directly on the hearing aid. This is very useful, as it is the easiest and quickest way to make adjustments. The volume can be adjusted through this button, and different hearing programs can also be activated. If you prefer not to make any adjustments directly on the ear, you can, of course, deactivate the button. A discreet option for changing the hearing aid is the remote control. It fits in any pocket. If the person you are talking to is once again speaking too softly, just one or two clicks are enough to adjust the volume. Additional hearing programs for listening to music or driving can also be activated with the remote control.
Some hearing aids can already be controlled via voice, but this one from Signia unfortunately cannot yet. This would be convenient when fingers are not as mobile or if you simply like smart gadgets. This Signia model does not have the ability to control the hearing aids with a simple tap of a finger, as it would have required specific sensors in the housing.
Hearing aid apps are becoming increasingly popular. With the Pure 7 AX Charge&Go, we are lucky: there is a suitable app. We were completely impressed with this app. It not only offers numerous options for adjusting the hearing aids to one’s personal hearing preferences, but the app also includes a lot of lifestyle features. We really enjoyed the direct, wireless streaming. This means that calls from the smartphone can be transmitted to the hearing aids without any additional accessories. This turns the hearing aid into a perfect hands-free system or wireless headphones. Listening to music or watching and hearing videos is also incredibly comfortable.

Simplicity & security
Another point in our checklist is handling. Does everything work easily and reliably? What does the hearing aid offer to ensure safe use in everyday life? With its top-class situation recognition, Pure 7 AX Charge&Go completely convinced us. The hearing aid seamlessly adapts to the acoustic environment and rarely requires our intervention. Hearing feels completely normal. We give big plus points for the automatic acclimatization assistant. It raises the starting volume in very small steps until my hearing goal is reached. This significantly eases the adjustment to the new sound.
The Pure 7 AX Charge&Go is rechargeable and no longer requires batteries. This is not only environmentally friendly but also very convenient to use and frees me from the burden of constantly thinking about battery supply.
We had a carefree everyday experience during our test due to the IP-68 certification. This indicates that the hearing aid is particularly well protected against dust and water. We marched through the rain and subsequently removed the hearing aids with wet hands - no problem at all. However, the water resistance really only applies to fresh, natural water and not to bubbly bath water or saltwater.

Extras
In conclusion, we want to know if the hearing aid perhaps offers any specials: Are you among those suffering from tinnitus? Then you could use the optional tinnitus program in the Pure 7 AX Charge&Go. Soft, gentle sounds are tailored to your hearing and engage all areas of the inner ear. It is nothing more than a distraction maneuver, and it works remarkably well. The tinnitus fades into the general noise and no longer bothers you. This is a simple but effective tool, and it earns extra points from us.
A real added value is provided by the remote maintenance service. For changes to the hearing aid settings, you no longer have to go to the specialist store but can directly contact the acoustician via the app. Through a cloud service, you can then load the new data package into the hearing aids. This is exactly what we expect from a modern hearing aid.
Sensors in the hearing aid enable functions that provide real added value. This model from Signia contains such sensors and, for example, counts your steps throughout the day. The data can then be viewed in the app. It is quite possible that additional tracking features will be added through subsequent updates. The hearing aid does not include extra features such as special assistance systems, a fall alarm, or language translators. This is not a significant issue, as it does not affect the important hearing functions.
