We wanted to know how users can access the Styletto 3 IX Slim RIC beyond that. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a button; that's a pity. Let's look further. A discreet way to change the hearing aid is with the remote control. It fits in any pocket. If someone is speaking too softly again, one or two clicks are enough to adjust the volume. Additional hearing programs for listening to music or driving can also be activated with the remote control.
Voice commands are a rather new way to operate hearing aids. However, we don't have this option in this model yet. That's not a big deal - the main thing is that one can hear well. Tap Control would also have been an interesting feature. With it, you can change functions with a quick tap on the ear. But that's not available in the Styletto 3 IX Slim RIC yet.
Manual operation includes an app. This allows for discreet access to the hearing aid. In addition to volume control, you can also set hearing programs and a few other functions. You no longer need headphones here, as it has a wireless option and can transmit sounds directly from the smartphone to the ears – provided the smartphone is equipped with 2.4 GHz LE technology.
