We tested a hearing aid of small size at a premium quality level this time. It is the Audio Service G6 12 Mood Li-Ion. It is worn behind the ear and is designed for almost every hearing need. We always appreciate it when a hearing aid surprises us with a great extra feature. For example, we would have liked to see voice control here. However, this is currently not available in the G6 12 Mood Li-Ion. Tap Control would also have been an interesting feature. With this, you can change the function with a quick tap on the ear. But this is not yet available in the G6 12 Mood Li-Ion.
Our favorite tool for hearing aids is the app, and we really like this one. In addition to the obligatory volume controls, there is also an option for sound adjustment. This significantly expands the potential of the G6 12 Mood Li-Ion and provides relief when hearing becomes exhausting. You no longer need headphones here, as it has a wireless option and can transmit sounds directly from the smartphone to your ears – provided the smartphone is equipped with 2.4 GHz LE technology.

There are quite a few people who are occasionally or frequently plagued by a ringing or buzzing in their ears. The tinnitus program in the G6 12 Mood Li-Ion is essentially just a sound generator. It aims to produce broad-band noises or sounds that gently and pleasantly stimulate all areas of hearing. The tinnitus fades into the background and is no longer perceived as disturbing.
Unfortunately, there is no option for remote adjustments. So, anyone who needs optimization and wants to change their hearing aid settings will have to visit an audiology professional.
A new trend in the hearing aid industry is integrated sensors that can track personal health data, for example. However, the G6 12 Mood Li-Ion does not offer this. The hearing aid does not include additional functions like special assistance systems, a fall alert, or language translators.
