Sudden noises are likely dampened, but we didn't really notice the effect. Spatial orientation, locating sounds, or speakers is rather difficult with this hearing aid. There are no supporting features in the microphones. We can hardly assign any points here, and we recommend considering this carefully. After all, spatial hearing also serves to navigate in public spaces and in traffic. An important point in our tests is the number of frequency bands. This plays a role when it comes to the precise programming of the hearing aids. The number is also important for distinguishing between speech and sounds. Here we have 10 bands. There could have definitely been a few more, as we unfortunately can't make very fine adjustments. However, those who do not place a high value on a brilliant sound experience could get along quite well with the Entra A 2 MNR T.

How can you fully exploit the potential of hearing aids in daily life? We have found out what access options are available with the Entra A 2 MNR T. A very quick way to adjust the volume is the small button on the device. It is easy to feel, and you can increase or decrease the volume in several steps. Additionally, extra programs for special hearing situations can be activated with it. If someone wants to do without the button, they can simply have it deactivated. We do like the small remote controls, and for this model, we have found one. This allows for discreet small adjustments to the volume or sound.
We are always pleased when a hearing aid surprises us with a great additional function. For example, we would have liked to see voice control here. However, this is currently not available in the Entra A 2 MNR T. If there are sensors in the hearing aid, tap control could be a possibility, which would trigger a specific function by tapping the ear with your fingers. However, this option is not available in the Entra A 2 MNR T.
The manual operation includes an app. This allows for discreet access to the hearing aid. Besides volume control, you can also adjust hearing programs and a few other functions. The Entra A 2 comes with a 2.4 GHz antenna, allowing us to enjoy binaural phone calls. This even gives us an advantage over normal-hearing individuals. If someone needs a new programming for their hearing aids, they can easily contact the acoustician via the app and describe their hearing preferences.
