We always take a close look at the number of equalizer bands. They are important for adjusting the sound of a hearing aid as accurately as possible to the hearing curve. Additionally, speech noise management also takes place within these bands. The AQ Sound FS 1 R T has 12 of them. That’s acceptable.

As is common today, we also find a smartphone app for the AQ Sound FS 1 R T. This app includes solid basic functions and adds a few extra features. The AQ Sound FS 1 comes with a 2.4 GHz antenna and allows us to enjoy binaural phone calls. This even gives us an advantage over normal hearing individuals. We find that great and are happy to give points for it.

An automatic environmental adjustment would definitely be helpful in everyday life, but unfortunately, it is not provided in the AQ Sound FS 1 R T. Therefore, we have to rely on manual adjustment options. The adaptation to the new hearing experience is supported by this device with a fully automatic acclimatization manager. It adjusts the amplification in barely noticeable steps until my hearing loss is completely compensated. I don't have to do anything else but wear my hearing aids regularly.
Easy handling in everyday life definitely includes the power supply. The AQ Sound FS 1 R T has a built-in battery and is rechargeable. Since a single charge is sufficient for an entire day, we don't have to worry about the battery dying in the middle of a conversation.
The datasheet certifies the Hansaton device with an IP protection class 68 certification. This makes it one of the most resilient hearing aids on the market. Dust has no chance, and water cannot penetrate the housing as long as it doesn’t submerge deeper than 1.5 m. Nevertheless, be cautious. Shampoo, for example, alters the surface tension of water. Saltwater should also be avoided. However, in everyday situations, you can behave completely carefree.
