In our test, we discovered the following access options: The simplest operation is always a button directly on the hearing aid. This one has it as well. It can be programmed according to your wishes. Do you want a manual volume control? No problem, the button allows for gradual adjustment of the volume. Or do you need different special programs for your professional daily life or your hobbies? These can also be activated via the button. Those who want to keep everything in automatic mode can simply ignore the button or even have it deactivated. Unfortunately, this hearing aid cannot be adjusted via a remote control – a few points are lost there.
For some time now, there has been a trend to adjust hearing aids louder or quieter using voice commands. The idea is really good, but Hansaton is not yet at that point with this device. Don't worry, this feature would be nice, but it is dispensable. Some hearing aids can also be operated with a quick tap of the finger, without needing to press a button. However, this feature has not yet been implemented here.

When it comes to hearing, situational recognition makes our lives easier. In the jazz XC Pro 3 312 ITC, this is not quite as sophisticated. This means that while the hearing aid can distinguish between quieter and louder environments and adjust accordingly, the challenging moments, such as loud conversations in a noisy background, are not compensated as well. The adaptation to the new hearing experience is supported by this device with a fully automatic acclimatization manager. It adjusts the amplification in barely noticeable steps until my hearing loss is completely compensated. I don't have to do anything other than wear my hearing aids regularly.
The jazz XC Pro 3 312 ITC is not rechargeable. It operates with size 312 hearing aid batteries. Disadvantage: Used batteries must be disposed of. Advantage: There is no need for daily charging of batteries; the hearing aid can run continuously for several days on a single battery.
A solid dust and moisture protection is also important for a safe everyday feeling. However, there is no IP certification present here. Presumably, this model is not really well-equipped against penetrating dust or moisture. This is outdated and results in a deduction of points.

A nice feature would be a remote maintenance service, so you could receive help from a hearing professional even when you can't make it to the store. Unfortunately, this is not available here, so there's no extra point for that.
A new trend in the hearing aid industry is integrated sensors that can track some personal health data, for example. However, the jazz XC Pro 3 312 ITC does not offer this. This Hansaton hearing aid does not come with any additional lifestyle options. Elsewhere, there are voice assistants or reminder functions, but you don’t need them for good hearing.
