If the person you’re talking to is speaking too softly again, one or two clicks are sufficient to adjust the volume. Additional hearing programs for music listening or driving can also be activated with the remote control.
In the test, we did not find any option for voice control. This feature isn’t necessarily required, but it would have pleased us nonetheless. Another option for controlling the hearing aids is tap control. To do this, you simply tap your fingers on your ear, which then triggers a specific function. However, this option is not available in this Oticon device.
For better usability, the manufacturer also provides us with an app for smartphones. The Oticon app for Real 2 mini Ex T is impressive: You can not only change the volume, but also really influence the sound and various noise parameters. The Real 2 comes with a 2.4 GHz antenna and allows us to enjoy binaural phone calls. This even gives us an advantage over normal hearing individuals. We think this is great and gladly award points.

Die Möglichkeit zur Ferneinstellung finden wir richtig gut. Die ist immer dann sehr hilfreich, wenn man nur eine Kleinigkeit an der Hörgerät-Einstellung verändert haben möchte, aber nicht extra zum Hörakustiker fahren will. Den Kontakt nimmt man stattdessen über die App auf, und der Hörprofi schickt ein angepasstes Datenpaket auf dem gleichen Weg zurück.
Viele Hörgeräte haben heute noch ein paar Gesundheits-Funktionen dabei. Da das Real 2 mini Ex T aber keine speziellen Sensoren dafür hat, können wir hier keine Besonderheiten vorstellen. Richtig gut gefallen haben uns die Zusatzfunktionen, die im Real 2 mini Ex T stecken. Verschiedene Assistenten unterstützen Ihren Alltag jenseits des Hörens und lassen sich in der App konfigurieren.
