No one notices, and reaching for the ear is not necessary.
This device from Unitron can be controlled by voice command. This very modern way of operating hearing aids is really convenient and especially fast. More and more functionalities are being incorporated into hearing aids that you already know from other areas. Here in the B Moxi 7 R, it is the tap control. It is sufficient to briefly tap the ear shell with your fingers or flat hand, and a command is triggered. This could be, for example, the start of a transmission from the TV adapter. Your hearing care professional will help you find the appropriate function.

The individual steps are so small that you don't even notice that there has been a volume increase.
The B Moxi 7 R is rechargeable and does not require batteries anymore. This is not only environmentally friendly but also very convenient to use and frees me from the burden of constantly thinking about battery replacements.
The hearing aid has been rated at IP68 protection class. This guarantees comprehensive protection against dust ingress. Water also cannot easily damage the hearing aid. Thus, it is well-prepared for outdoor activities where it can get wet and dirty. However, do not necessarily go bathing or swimming with the hearing aids. Bath additives or the salt content in seawater can change the composition and ultimately cause damage.

At the end of our test report, there is still a little space for the extra features: Are you one of the tinnitus sufferers? Then you could use the optional tinnitus program in the B Moxi 7 R. Soft, gentle sounds are tuned to your hearing and engage all areas of the inner ear. It is nothing more than a distraction maneuver, and it works surprisingly well. The tinnitus disappears into the general noise and no longer bothers you. This is a simple yet effective tool and earns extra points from us.
A real added value is the remote maintenance service. For a change of the hearing aid settings, you no longer necessarily have to go to the specialist store, but can directly contact the audiologist via the app. Through a cloud service, you can then upload the new data package to the hearing aids. That is exactly what we expect from a modern hearing aid.
Many hearing aids still come with a few health functions today. However, since the B Moxi 7 R does not have any special sensors for that, we cannot present any particular features here. Other hearing aids already offer some extended options such as a fall alarm or reminder functions. We do not find that here, and that's not so dramatic, as the normal hearing functions are still the most important.
