However, those who frequently experience changing acoustic environments should configure the manual additional programs. Some people find it difficult to get accustomed, but this hearing aid makes it easy for us to cope with the new volume. There is an acclimatization manager that gradually introduces us to the necessary target amplification. The period can last from a few weeks to several months and is adjustable individually. The individual levels are so small that one hardly notices a volume increase.
The V Moxi 5 R is rechargeable and no longer requires hearing aid batteries. This is environmentally friendly, as there are no old batteries to dispose of. At the same time, it is extremely convenient since there is no need to carry spare batteries. The hearing aids simply go into the charging station at night and are ready to use the next morning.
The V Moxi 5 is virtually dust and water-resistant and, with its IP 68 rating, is certainly well protected against external influences.

In conclusion, we want to know if the hearing aid might offer any specials: We really liked the optional tinnitus program. There are quite a number of people who are occasionally or frequently troubled by a whistling or buzzing in their ears. The tinnitus program in the V Moxi 5 R is essentially nothing more than a sound generator. It’s about creating broad-spectrum noises or sounds that gently and pleasantly stimulate all areas of hearing. The tinnitus gets drowned out and is no longer perceived as bothersome.
We find the remote maintenance service quite interesting. If one does not have the opportunity to visit the hearing care professional, they can instead contact them via the app, briefly describe their hearing problem, and then receive a data package with a new hearing aid configuration. If it sounds good, they can upload it to their hearing aids.
Many hearing aids still come with a few health functions today. However, since the V Moxi 5 R does not have any special sensors for this, we cannot present any special features here. This Unitron hearing aid does not have any additional lifestyle options on board. Elsewhere, there are voice assistants or reminder functions, but these are not needed for good hearing.
