In this audio service model, Audio Service has implemented an effective noise reduction. It operates at a high performance level and offers the user very good comfort. An impulse sound reducer for short, explosive noises is sensibly integrated here and is completely sufficient in everyday situations.

For the next chapter, we subjected the hearing aid to a small practical test. We wanted to know if it is easy to use and uncomplicated in everyday life. A balanced situation automatic is the most important point we consider when it comes to simplicity. After all, no one wants to fiddle with the hearing aid constantly. The G8 16 DIC has proven in the test that it accompanies us comfortably and reliably through our hearing daily routine. With its excellent full automatic, this device is a true highlight. Some people struggle with the adjustment, but this hearing aid makes it easy for us to cope with the new volume. There is an acclimatization manager that gradually leads us to the necessary target amplification. The time frame can take a few weeks or even several months, and it is individually adjustable. G8 16 DIC relies on battery power instead of rechargeable batteries. Advantage: very long runtime with a single battery. Unlike rechargeable solutions, you only need to worry about power supply very rarely. Disadvantage: waste is generated in the form of used batteries. This hearing aid uses a hearing aid battery size 10.
The hearing aid has been classified in protection class IP68. This guarantees comprehensive protection against the ingress of dust. Water cannot easily harm the hearing aid either. Therefore, it is well-equipped for outdoor activities where it may get wet and dirty. However, you should not necessarily go bathing or swimming with the hearing aids. Bath additives or the salt content in seawater can alter the composition and ultimately cause damage.

We are almost at the end, but perhaps this device still has a few gifts in the form of extra features? Let's take a look: Audio Service has integrated a sound generator that plays soothing sounds for those suffering from tinnitus. This can distract from the tinnitus and provide a bit more relaxation.
What about remote maintenance? Such online services save visits to specialty stores, as you can directly contact an acoustic professional through the app. Unfortunately, we didn't find anything like that for the G8 16 DIC. It's a shame; that would have been a great additional tool.
Many hearing aids today still come with some health functions. However, since the G8 16 DIC does not have specific sensors for that, we cannot present any special features here. The hearing aid forgoes additional functions like special assistance systems, a fall alarm, or language translators. This is not a major issue, as it does not affect the important hearing functions.
