It is worn in the ear and is intended for mild, moderate, and also severe hearing needs. The jazz XC Pro 7 10 IIC offers customers comprehensive noise management. Basic noise suppression is definitely present. It is designed to dampen constant sounds like street noise or the hum of the air conditioning. In our test device from Hansaton, there is quite respectable noise suppression. Even when things get louder, the listening experience remains pleasant.
Short and sharp sounds are usually annoying, but this model has an adjustable impulse sound control. This makes sounds like cutlery clattering, slamming drawers, or rustling newspapers less unpleasant. The jazz XC Pro 7 10 IIC impresses us with its wind reduction and offers good performance in that regard. With 16 adjustable equalizer bands, there is enough room to create a reliable, precise listening experience. While it lacks instruments for spatial hearing, we still give it full marks. Spatial hearing is preserved because the hearing aid sits directly in the ear canal. And that's where sound reaches even for non-hearing aid users. This is a real advantage of this specific, small design.
Other hearing aids already use artificial intelligence in their signal processing, but this strategy has not yet been implemented in the jazz XC Pro 7 10 IIC.

In our test, we discovered the following access options: For those who want to quickly and easily adjust the volume louder or softer, there is a button on the device. The jazz XC Pro 7 10 IIC performs effectively here and adapts to many situations. The device supports getting used to the new hearing experience with a fully automatic adaptation manager. It adjusts the amplification in barely noticeable steps until my hearing loss is completely compensated. I only need to wear my hearing aids regularly.
jazz XC Pro 7 10 IIC is not equipped with a rechargeable battery, so it cannot be recharged. It uses a hearing aid battery size 10 as its power source. This battery needs to be replaced every few days.
Hearing aids are exposed to external influences. However, this model does not have any special coating against moisture or dust. This is unusual nowadays and surprises us. Therefore, optimal care is essential.

Unfortunately, there is no option for remote adjustment. Therefore, anyone who requires optimization and wants to change their hearing aid settings must visit an audiologist.
If Hansaton had integrated motion sensors into this hearing aid, individual health tracking could even be possible. However, this is not the case here.
