In our test, we discovered the following access options: A very quick way to adjust the volume is the small button on the device. It is easy to feel, and you can adjust it louder or quieter in several steps. Additional programs for special listening situations can also be activated with it. Those who wish to forgo the button can simply have it deactivated. Remote controls for hearing aids are generally common today, but Hansaton has not provided one for this device.
For some time now, there has been a trend to adjust hearing aids louder or quieter using voice commands. The idea is really good, but Hansaton has not yet reached that point with this device. Don't worry, this feature would be nice, but it is not essential. Another option for controlling the hearing aids is tapping control. You simply tap your fingers on your ear, which triggers a specific function. However, this possibility is not available in this Hansaton device.
An additional app for individual operation would be nice, but it is currently not offered for this hearing aid. Unfortunately, wireless connectivity options are completely lacking in this version. This is no longer quite up-to-date, but it is likely due to the small size of the hearing aid.

An important factor for the acceptance of a hearing aid is its practicality in everyday life. This includes, for example, automated functions as well as robustness and user-friendliness. A balanced automatic situation recognition is the most important point we consider when it comes to simplicity. After all, no one wants to constantly adjust their hearing aid. The jazz XC Pro 9 10 IIC has proven in tests that it comfortably and reliably accompanies us through our hearing daily lives. With its excellent full automation, this device is a real highlight. The adjustment to the new hearing sensation is supported by a fully automatic acclimatization manager. It adjusts the amplification in barely noticeable steps until my hearing loss is completely compensated. I don't have to do anything other than wear my hearing aids regularly.
We regret that the jazz XC Pro 9 10 IIC does not have a rechargeable battery, but operates with hearing aid batteries of size 10. This is not particularly problematic, but one should remember to carry spare batteries. On the other hand, this hearing aid does not need to be charged daily; it runs for a longer time on one battery.
Unfortunately, this hearing aid does not have any special protection against entering dust or moisture; at least there is no certification that defines the robustness of the device. It may not be so well-suited for an active daily life.

Everyone appreciates a few extra features, so let's see if we can find any here: A special tinnitus program can be programmed in the jazz XC Pro 9 10 IIC upon request. This allows for the generation of stimulating, pleasant sounds that distract from the tinnitus when it's particularly strong. We find this very useful and are happy to award extra points.
A nice feature would be a remote maintenance service, allowing assistance from a hearing professional even when one cannot visit the store. Unfortunately, this is not available here, so no extra point will be awarded.
Tracking health data is a real added value in modern hearing aids. However, this Hansaton model lacks the sensors for this service. The hearing aid also does not include additional features such as special assistance systems, a fall alarm, or language translators. This is not a big deal, as it does not affect the important hearing functions.
